The heritage-protected art nouveau hall in the Grand Restaurant is the heart of the Hotel Edelweiss. Originally built in the neoclassical style, the hall was expanded in the neo-Gothic style. One former guest was the well-known poet and philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who appreciated the aristocratic ambience, the service and the excellent cuisine at the Hotel Edelweiss.
We serve our richly varied breakfast buffet between 7 am and 10.30 am. To give you a perfect start to the day, we present an array of fresh pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, and speciality cheeses and sausages as well as several delicious egg dishes and salmon (weekend and bank holidays). On Sunday and bank holidays, we offer our exclusive prosecco breakfast until 11 am.
Chef de Cuisine Stephan Gose, in describing the style of his 5-course dinner menus, explains: "On the menu are fresh, spontaneous dishes with ingredients predominantly from Northern Italy and Grisons." His creations range from regional dishes to international classics, along with a special dessert buffet on Friday evenings. On Sundays, there is an extensive appetiser and salad buffet. At the same time, our trained kitchen team will be happy to assist you with any individual wishes or requests.
