The Upper Engadine

A diverse range of sports has sprung from the impressive natural landscapes that surround this holiday destination, known for its world-famous events. The attractions here include skiing, cross country skiing, ice sport and snow kiting in winter, with mountain biking, hiking and kite or wind surfing in summer. Between the Upper Engadine mountains and lakes, the glaciers, wind, water and unique flora and fauna, there is something for everyone.

The Upper Engadine is also host to several museums and art galleries, Segantini the local landscape painter and Nietzsche, the philosopher, for example. St. Moritz

A true holiday classic, St. Moritz is one of the best known holiday resorts worldwide. Winter holidays were invented here 150 years ago, and this is where the Olympic Winter Games of 1928 and 1948 took place. In fact, St. Moritz recently hosted the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships for the fifth time, in February 2017.
